The technology cluster onTech Innovation participates in the Andalucía Agrotech DIH project (www.andaluciaagrotech.com), promoted by the Regional Government of Andalusia, aimed at modernizing and digitalizing the Andalusian agri-food sector. A collaboration that seeks to promote technological innovation and sustainability in regional agriculture.
onTech’s collaboration with the Agrotech program translates into the provision of services aimed at startups and SMEs, focused on advising on public funding for all companies located in Andalusia that want to increase their degree of digitalization. Specifically, these services focus on writing proposals and supporting the search for public funding for emerging companies and SMEs. In short, finding the funding tools that best suit their needs. The Agrotech website includes a catalog with all available services that can be consulted at the link: https://www.andaluciaagrotech.com/que-ofrecemos/#:~:text=catalogo%20de%20servicios.
As a starting point, the cluster conducts a needs detection plan and a digital diagnosis, which allows understanding the specific and concrete needs of each company at a technological, financial and digital maturity level.
Participation in this project highlights the importance that onTech Innovation places on promoting digitalization and innovation in the agri-food sector, helping self-employed individuals and small and medium-sized entrepreneurs to advance in competitiveness in the foreign market, accompanying them so that none are left behind in this process.
Andalusia plays a key role in the Spanish agri-food sector, being one of the main producing and exporting regions. In this context, it is essential to advise and accompany farmers in the process of modernization and digitalization of their productions not only to improve their competitiveness but to ensure their adaptation to the new challenges of the global market.
Andalucía Agrotech is a public-private partnership led by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development, and recognized as a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) whose objective is to promote digital transformation in the agri-food sector through the adoption of advanced technologies, the promotion of innovation and collaboration.
This project is funded through the Digital Europe Programme with an initial allocation of 4.26 million euros for a duration of three years, in the execution period between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2025.
